It happens every time. You and your friend sit down for brunch, scan the menu, and instantly split into two teams. One reaches for the pancake section, the other for a bacon-loaded omelet.
“Are you really getting French toast again?” one of you says.
“Obviously. What’s brunch without something sweet?” the other replies.
“But look at this breakfast burrito—cheesy eggs, crispy potatoes, and bacon. Perfection.”
“You’re missing out. A good brunch needs syrup.”
